(Tallahassee, FL) — [FLVoiceNews.com] A federal judge on Thursday rejected an emergency request by the Council on American-Islamic Relations to stop Florida from designating the group and its state chapter as domestic terrorist organizations, allowing the designations to take effect under a new state law while the broader legal challenge continues. Attorney General James Uthmeier celebrated the decision in a Thursday morning post on X. "This morning, a federal court upheld Florida's Domestic Terrorist Organization law and rejected CAIR's attempt to stop the designations," Uthmeier wrote.
