FlashMob Delights Returning Travelers in Heathrow AirportA welcome home you won't forget… Who doesn't relish a homecoming welcome by friends or family as you come off a long flight, or back from a trip? Even if it's just one person meeting you in the terminal, as your eyes scan the gathered crowd, looking for your connection among those waiting for theirs, there's a measure of relief and anticipation when you see that familiar face.
As I watched this video, I couldn't help but think of the incredible welcome Believers receive as they finally arrive in a long awaited destination they call "home," even though they've never laid eyes on it before. Who will be there to greet us? Will there be music, singing? Will we hear "Well done, good and faithful servant"? I just know the Apostle Paul anticipated that homecoming with joy, as he said it was "far better" to be there with the Lord Jesus. Whether this video causes you to dream of a "final homecoming" or not, it's definitely worth watching, especially as you see the astonished and delighted expressions on the unsuspecting audience of travelers. Earlier this fall, passengers and those meeting them in London's Heathrow Airport, were treated to another wonderful, surprise presentation by the "FlashMob." Even business travelers, who may not have had anyone to meet them, received a most unique welcome-in-song.
