According to the AP and Fox News, the U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear an appeal to reinstate New Hampshire's Parental Notification Law which was struck down as "unconstitutional" by the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

The review of the measure is scheduled to be heard during the high court's next term in October. The law would require that a parent or guardian be notified if an abortion was to be done on a woman under 18. According to the ruling, notification has to be made in person or by certified mail 48 hours before the pregnancy is to be terminated.
