President Trump 'Steals the Show' at the Republican Midterm Convention, Announces Huge Payout for Americans If GOP Wins Midterms

He said it will be "very much like a successful company will do a cash distribution to a shareholders, or like last year when I gave our great members of the military $1776."

"The only caveat I have is that the dividend that we're making must be spent in the United States of America," he said.

Trump said the Democrats couldn't do that because they "don't do tariffs."

"All they know is poverty and how to ruin our country," he said. "But we're making a fortune."

The US has roughly 269.7 million adults, meaning this program would cost around $1.35 trillion.

Trump promised to visit every single state with a close House or Senate race in the upcoming 2026 midterms.

"We can win every one of those races," he said in his speech at the Republican National Committee Midterm Convention Wednesday night in Dallas, Texas. "But I'm going to go to every one of those states for congressmen and for senators. I'm going to do that, and we're going to have rallies."

Trump said this means he will visit 35 states.

He will return to Texas because "we have to elect Ken Paxton," the Republican Senate candidate facing Democrat nominee James Talarico. According to the RealClearPolitics poll average, Talarico currently has a 2.8 point advantage.

"If I have to, I'll come back twice or three times," he said.

Talarico has come under fire for calling himself a "Christian who hates Christian" and referring to God as "nonbinary." Trump referred to him as "Tala-Freako" and said he's a "weird-looking dude."

"This guy would be a disaster," Trump said, "and he stated that he wants to totally dismantle capitalism."

Trump also criticized Talarico for being vegan.

"He ran a campaign to beat meat," he said. "But it was bad for his image, so he started eating meat ... But he was recently seen having a barbecue and eating a lot of meat."

Trump jokingly teased with the knowing crowd with the crude double entendre he had made.

The president called Paxton, who defeated incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the primary, "the single greatest attorney general you've ever had, and maybe the top attorney general in the whole United States."

"He may not dress right, he may not talk exactly perfectly, and he may not be the best-looking guy I've ever seen," Trump said. "But you know what he is? He's the greatest attorney general in America, and he deserves to be your next senator."

Trump said the president usually doesn't play a large role in midterms, but he is breaking the mold.

"The midterms are not supposed to be won by the sitting president, and we're going to change that," he said. "And we'll make it an even more important time in our country and presidency."

Trump asked voters to elect Republicans so the second half of his term can resemble the first.

"I'm asking you to let us finish the job we began with the greatest two years in the history of the presidency," he said. "This has been the most successful two years financially and every other way in the history of the presidency."

"And I want you to remember me in four or five years when this country is rocketing," he said. "Remember, I'm the one that got it started."

Trump referred to a "sick cloud" [of communism] over the United States.

Trump paid tribute to Charlie Kirk, who was killed on Sept. 10, 2025.

"What shocked millions of Americans was not only the fact that Charlie was murdered, as bad as it was, but also how many people made an excuse for it or cheered for it," he said.

"We will not let them win, and in Charlie's honor, I just want to say we love you, Charlie," he said to cheers of "Charlie, Charlie, Charlie" from the crowd.

Trump slammed Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, who faces Republican Mike Rogers.

"In Michigan, the Democrat nominee is Abdul El-Sayed, who brags about the fact that he wants to pack the Supreme Court with 23 far-left lunatics justices," he said. "His sister, who's absolutely—you got to listen to this one. His sister celebrated the terrorist slaughter of babies on Oct. 7. She thought it was a great thing."

Trump said El-Sayed's mother "worked for an organization that gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to people that follow Osama bin Laden, and he campaigns with a Marxist agitator who says that America deserved 9/11."

"We deserve to have 3,000 people killed, two massive structures brought to the ground. We deserved it, right?" he said. "Yet the Democrats want to make this extremist a US senator."

Trump also urged voters to elect former RNC Chair Michael Whatley for North Carolina senator over Roy Cooper. Under Cooper's watch, a man brutally stabbed a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee woman to death on a Charlotte metro train, Trump said.

"Roy Cooper was the governor and released this animal into North Carolina society, and others that were almost as bad," he said.

"Roy Cooper will make North Carolina a killing field," he added, "and he's a radical left politician posing as a moderate."

Later in the speech, Trump thanked Senate Majority Leader John Thune, drawing loud "boos" from the crowd.

Trump defended him, saying, "No, no. John is, John is working hard. He's got great opposition."

"He's got great opposition from the Democrat [Chuck] Schumer and these guys," he said. "They're terrible. Got great opposition. He's working very hard." Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
