"No one forced these plaintiffs to attend these universities," continued McFarland. "They are adults and must deal with the consequences of their own choices. The idea that a Christian university cannot uphold Christian standards of belief is laughable, yet zealots like these are actually attempting to make that a reality. We cannot be shocked that a religious university actually wants to maintain its religious integrity! Christians must stand firm in their beliefs in the face of people who are determined to take away our religious freedoms. The liberal agenda cannot get in the way of our calling to live true to the Gospel."
