Donald Trump Jr. Wows the Nation With Speech After His Father Wins GOP Nomination

Lauren Creekmore : Jul 20, 2016  CBN News

Donald Trump's articulate, respectful and hard-working children continue to blow the minds of Americans on both sides of the aisles, with some already saying they believe Trump Jr. will be a future president.

The second night of the Republican National Convention started with the roll call of states casting their votes. Trumps name, of course, called out more than any other.

His own son, Donald Trump, Jr. put his dad over the top casting New York's 89 delegate votes for his father.

However, the house came alive when the younger Trump took the stage with a powerful speech endorsing his dad.

With strength and utter loyalty to his father Trump, Jr. paid tribute to his father and shared his accomplishments as a leader.

"When someone tells him something is impossible, that triggers him into action. He changed the skyline of New York ... I have seen it time and time again in his eyes when someone says it can't be done," Trump, Jr. said.

He continued saying that his father never spoiled him and his siblings, but taught them the value of work, by making them learn under blue-collar workers.

Trump, Jr. told fellow Republicans that his father has always been an "encourager" and sees the potential in people that they cannot even see in themselves.

He said his dad would stand alongside his workers, pouring concrete, and valuing his workers advice and opinions, even above those who carry impressive degrees.

"We didn't learn from MBA's we learned from people who had doctorates in common sense," Trump Jr. said about himself and his siblings.

He continued to say his father is not the one to always tell someone what they want to hear, but instead what needs to be said.

Trump Jr. assured the audience a Trump administration will "get America back and better than ever before because I know my father."

After months of being the top contender for the Republican nomination, Donald Trump has gathered a large following, while having to battle the so called "Washington DC establishment," the GOP establishment, the main-stream media, Hillary Clinton and the Democratic party.

Speeches included words from former presidential nominee Ben Carson, Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, as well as the Trump children, Tiffany Trump and Donald Trump Junior, who shared loving and admiring words about their father and Republican Nominee, Donald Trump.

The youngest daughter, Tiffany Trump also spoke at the convention Wednesday evening, and said she never expected after graduating college to address a crowd of ten million people.

"I have given a few speeches in a classroom with students," Tiffany Trump said. She asked the audience to forgive her for being nervous, however she said she is like her father when it comes to accepting a challenge. (Screengrab via CBN News)

Trump shared advice she has heeded from her father over the years saying, "With enough effort and determination you can do whatever you put your mind to. My father has lived that."

Paul Ryan merely gave Trump recognition at the Convention, and instead focused his attention on Hillary saying, "What does the Democratic Party establishment offer? What is their idea of a clean break? They are offering a third Obama term, brought to you by another Clinton."

He wrapped up his speech saying, ""Only under Donald Trump and Mike Pence do we have a chance at a better way."

Unlike Ryan, Ben Carson took the stage and gave his full support to Trump, starting off with a warning, saying "I am not politically correct."

Carson said the brain gives us the power to reason, and to use it to elect a president that will be the best for the country.

"We must be weary of the narrative that is being advanced in our own party," Carson said.

Carson said we must be thinking about the Supreme Court and what that will mean for generations.

"This is a nation where our pledge of allegiance says we are under God," Carson said.

Carson said that Trump put his skills to American's interest and not his own.

He continued saying Trump is the right leader for a time such as this.

"It is not about Donald Trump, it is not about me, it is about 'we the people,'" Carson said.

Carson ended the night with a call to action saying, "now is the time to rise up and take America back."

Donald Trump will formally announce his acceptance on Thursday evening.
