Finding God's Encouragement on a Tough News Day......We're reminded of just how ultimately powerful God's Word really is, and nothing that goes on here on Earth surprises Him, because "no creature is hidden from His sight."
"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." -Hebrews 10:23 I read it, and like Mary—took it to heart—as I switched on the news in preparation for work. And finally in the last chapter of this great book: "Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.' So we may boldly say: 'The Lord is my helper;
Feeling encouraged yet? I am. Keep the faith, and if you feel yourself getting discouraged, do like King David did and get into God's Word. It IS what stands forever, anyway!
