After six hugely successful seasons, the show was suddenly cancelled and the perceived reason why is setting off a firestorm of angry Twitters and national criticism from shocked fans who are convinced the call was purely political.

"Hollywood doesn't usually cancel highly rated TV shows," notes author Erin Perri for TellMeNow. "That's why it's very strange that Tim Allen's "Last Man Standing" was suddenly axed from next season's lineup on ABC. The timing is suspicious as it comes on the heels of Tim calling out the left's push to limit the free speech of conservatives."

Camille Heimbrod, in the IBTimes, writes, "Last Man Standing was dubbed as the perfect sitcom for the Trump era, according to Deadline. The publication claimed that the central character, Mike, who is a political conservative and a devout Christian, was embraced by viewers in the Heartland. However, none of these things were considered by the network, and despite its success, Last Man Standing was ultimately canceled."

Perhaps Hollywood thinks the cancellation of a popular show with conservatives is insignificant. The fact is, there are so few to begin with – rather like paltry crumbs compared to the industry's other meat-and-potatoes godless, Christian-bashing garbage – they should think again.

After all, it was "The Deplorables" in the last election (aka, millions and millions of everyday, hard-working Americans) who stunned the world by electing our current president.

Frances Sweet -- Upsets me how our Major entertainment, news and media are all so liberal they can't even acknowledge there are millions who do not watch the junk and only watch the one or two decent shows. Like we don't buy products also.

Scarlett Elaine Couch -- I always marvelled that ABC had that show on. I guess they finally watched it. It was the only show on ABC that I would watch. Guess I can delete them now.

Or, perhaps Hollywood doesn't care.

Clearly, they should.

In the meantime, it will be interesting to see what God has up His sleeve for Tim Allen's future. Methinks Americans haven't seen the last of the talented, outspoken conservative comedian.
