Jesus Speaks to Syrian Widow

Teresa Neumann : Nov 26, 2012  Erich Bridges – Baptist Press News

"Tomorrow, I will send you someone who will tell you about Me. Listen to him." -God to Syrian Widow

(Beirut, Lebanon)—A man from a Christian relief team recently delivered food to a Syrian widow living in a rural Muslim village near the border, whose plight had been made known to them. Because the Muslim widow was still in a traditional 40-day period of isolated mourning, she was unable to receive anything from her local Islamic aid society.

When the anxious widow opened her door to him, the Christian explained he had come out of love for God. He was subsequently invited into her home.

"I want to tell you what happened to me yesterday," she told him, excitedly. "As I was sleeping during the night, Someone knocked on my door . . . No one was there. After awhile, I heard the same knocking. My heart was beating so fast, I went and sat beside the door and fell asleep."

"As I was sleeping," she continued, "someone put His hand on my shoulder. He said, 'You don't know Me. You have passed through a great pain. I experienced a great pain, also. But I will not leave you alone. Tomorrow, I will send you someone who will tell you about Me. Listen to him."

According to the report, the widow then began to weep and begged her Christian visitor to "tell me about this Person that I saw in my dream."
