"We don't want recognition for it. We want it to be all about God."

(East Texas, U.S.A.) - Jennifer Grimes is an East Texas teenager who was at a loss as to how to influence people with her faith and message of hope. As reported in The Oklahoman, one day she simply picked up a telephone book, selected a few names, wrote an anonymous letter of hope - along with a Scripture - to people she didn't know, and then mailed them.

Her sister Jessica, and her mother Christina, did the same thing and together they decided to call themselves Anonymous Encouragers.

"We just wanted to be encouraging to others with the love of Christ," said Jennifer, who noted that the anonymity is meant to draw attention to the Lord and not herself.

According to the report, after Jessica sent their website link at www.anonymousencouragers.weebly.com to K-LOVE radio's website, Anonymous Encouragers gained momentum and today many people around the world have taken their lead and are sending their own anonymous letters of encouragement.

"It just took off, and we didn't really think anyone would be interested in it," said Jessica. "I'm still shocked by it."
