Amid Renewed War against Iran's Islamic Regime, the Country's People Once Again Take to the Streets in Anti-government Protests

Aimee Herd : Jul 14, 2026  Breaking Christian News

"...A lot of the people have been also protesting because the regime has been stealing their money. (The Islamic regime) has been going around and manipulating the banking system and they are taking peoples' cash. The people go to banks to withdraw cash, and they can't. Their money's gone..." -Mahyar Tousi, Tousi.TV

[Breaking Christian News] In a recent report from Tousi.TV, it seems the Islamic regime in Iran is not only being bombarded by the US military, but also by the people of Iran who are desperate to take back their beloved country. (Screengrab image: via Tousi.TV)

The people, who rose up last year against the oppressive and murderous regime were told by their exiled leader, as well as the US, to stay off the streets during the current conflict, to avoid another massacre by the hands of the IRGC like the one that happened in January.

"Despite the warning from President Trump, the Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi and others, telling the people of Iran, 'Don't come out yet, don't take to the streets yet (as it's too dangerous right now),' the people are fed up (with the Islamic regime)," explained Mahyar Tousi, host of Tousi TV, noting that, "They are suffering, people are not getting paid ... the health system is collapsing, and protests have erupted across the country, just like at the end of December, 2025."

Of the more than 93 million citizens of Iran, according to Tousi, only about 5 percent hold allegiance to the Islamic regime and the IRGC. The vast majority desire a free Iran, out from under the IRGC's iron-clad hold, such as it used to be prior to the Islamic takeover in 1979.

Hungry to take back their country, the protests that started last year in December, continued into January until the IRGC began massacring protesters on the streets, murdering over 50,000 according to some reports.

Since US airstrikes began at the end of February, the people have largely stayed inside and off the streets. But their economy has completely broken down, and the people are becoming frantic for a revolution. "Imagine living in a country where the inflation is 300 percent!" Tousi said.

"So far, the security forces in Iran have only been using batons and tear-gas (to quell the protests). ... But the IRGC military are currently on standby because of the US military (strikes). ... A lot of the people have been also protesting because the regime has been stealing their money. (The Islamic regime) has been going around and manipulating the banking system, and they are taking peoples' cash. The people go to banks to withdraw cash, and they can't. Their money's gone. ... (The regime) will allow you to protest one or two days, but then the crackdown will get violent and out of control. ... If these guys continue to protest, that will happen. The regime is a little bit distracted because of the US military involvement, but they will still be able to send in the Arab proxies from Iraq and ... take out these citizens."

Please continue to pray for the people of Iran, for the freeing of their country, and the fall of the Islamic regime, as well as protection over the US Military. Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
