Iran-Linked Weapons Funding Pipeline Exposed Inside the US

IFA / Daily Wire : Apr 22, 2026  Intercessors For America

These allegations highlight the complexity of modern threats facing the United States. From hidden financial channels to international alliances, these networks can operate in the shadows—but nothing is hidden from God. Let's pray that those working to arm our enemies from within our borders would be exposed and stopped!

A troubling arrest at Los Angeles International Airport is raising serious concerns about the reach of foreign-linked weapons networks operating within the United States. Federal authorities say the case involves far more than an attempted international departure—it points to a sophisticated pipeline tied to Iran and overseas conflict zones.

From the Daily Wire:

Terror tied to overseas battlefields may have just crept onto American soil. What unfolded at Los Angeles International Airport wasn't just another arrest. Federal agents moved in on a 44-year-old Iranian national, Shamim Mafi, just as she was preparing to board a flight out of the country.

According to a newly unsealed federal complaint, Mafi is accused of brokering deals involving Iranian-made military equipment, including drones, bombs, and specialized components used in explosives. Investigators say the scope of the operation wasn't small, with alleged transactions involving tens of millions of rounds of ammunition and multiple deals in motion at once.

One of the more striking claims centers on a proposed agreement valued at more than $70 million tied to armed drone systems known as Mohajer-6, reportedly intended for Sudan's Ministry of Defense, along with additional efforts to arrange bomb components and massive ammunition transfers.

Prosecutors allege that this operation was not conducted from abroad alone, but from within the United States itself. Despite living as a lawful permanent resident since 2016, authorities say the suspect maintained extensive international connections, traveling frequently to nations like Iran, Turkey, and Oman while coordinating deals through overseas business channels.

Investigators believe these global ties allowed her to bypass US sanctions, routing payments through multiple countries and leveraging foreign contacts to move military equipment. Even more concerning are allegations that she maintained communication with individuals connected to Iran's intelligence networks, suggesting a deeper level of coordination that could pose a national security risk.

These allegations highlight the complexity of modern threats facing the United States. From hidden financial channels to international alliances, these networks can operate in the shadows—but nothing is hidden from God.
