We have covered the story of Eithan Haim, a doctor who was targeted by the Biden administration after revealing that Texas Children's Hospital lied about ending trans treatments for minors. After the Trump administration dismissed the case against him, Haim filed his own lawsuit against those who conspired against him, and Elon Musk is footing the bill.

Elon Musk is funding a lawsuit from the Texas doctor who is accusing Texas Children's Hospital and multiple physicians of crafting "malicious" lies about him to destroy his career as they attempted to cover up their efforts to transition children.

Haim is suing Texas Children's Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Larry Hollier Jr., a board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Kristy Rialon, an associate professor of surgery at Baylor College of Medicine and pediatric surgeon at Texas Children's, and Afsheen Davis, the general counsel for Texas Children's.

The lawsuit challenges "the malicious prosecution against Dr. Haim for blowing the whistle on Texas Children's Hospital's efforts to conceal the existence of their Transgender Health Program."

As the Daily Wire notes, Haim first blew the whistle in May of 2023. At the time, Texas had just recently passed a law banning trans treatments for minors, meaning Texas Children's Hospital was in violation of the law. He received a visit from federal agents a month later. The Biden administration quickly began investigating him, accusing him of violating patient privacy, an accusation he denied. Once President Trump took office, however, his DOJ dropped the case.

Haim's lawsuit highlights the smear campaign against him designed to punish him for blowing the whistle on Texas Children's Hospital. The suit accuses Hollier of knowingly lying to federal authorities to "fabricate a story that would serve as the predicate for the criminal investigation and eventual prosecution" against Haim. Rialon, meanwhile, allegedly posted anonymous defamatory reviews of Haim, accusing him of "mutilating and raping his patients." Lastly, the suit accuses Davis, the final defendant, of meeting with federal agents to "encourage the investigation" into Haim.

Haim's lawsuit also alleges that his reputation and career were "severely damaged as a direct result of Defendants' unconscionable and vindictive conduct," highlighting how he was "blacklisted from major hospitals and surgical practices" and "unable to obtain valuable credentialing or privileges despite being otherwise qualified."

In a statement to the Daily Wire, Haim thanked those who have supported him, stating, "I am eternally grateful for Elon Musk, X Corp, and the legal teams at Schaer Jaffe and Burke Law Group for supporting me in this effort." He credited X with helping the truth of his story reach the public, commenting on how fitting it was that Musk, the platforms owner, is now backing his suit against those who wronged him.
