Fed Judge BLOCKS DOGE from Gaining Access to 'Sensitive' Treasury Department Payment Records; Same Judge That Threw an Elderly, Pro-life Grandma in Jail...The DOGE team previously discovered that payment approval officers at [the] Treasury were always instructed to approve payments, even to known fraudulent or terrorist groups. They never denied a payment in their entire career.
Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly wrote in her order that Treasury officials "will not provide access to any payment record or payment system of records maintained within the [Treasury] Bureau of Fiscal Service." Here is a link to the order here. This ruling comes after multiple government employee unions sued the Treasury Department over who could access the material. The lawsuit claimed Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent improperly allowed Elon Musk's team to access the materials, supposedly exposing personal financial information to unauthorized people...
