Enough is Enough! After Federal Court Rules against Trump's Travel Ban, Attorney General Says, "We're Taking it to the Supreme Court!""This Department of Justice will continue to vigorously defend the power and duty of the Executive Branch to protect the people of this country from danger." -Attorney General Jeff Sessions
Chief Judge, Roger L. Gregory, wrote in his ruling that the ban "in context drips with religious intolerance, animus and discrimination." Omar Jadwat, director of the ACLU's Immigrants' Rights Project, argued the case before the appeals court and lauded their decision. But one of the dissenting judges, Judge Dennis W. Shedd, was quoted as saying the real losers are the American people whose lives are threatened daily by terrorists seeking to harm them. Now, the White House has apparently had enough of deep-state shenanigans, partisan politics and political correctness run amok. In an official statement, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said they are taking their case to the highest court in the land.

(Photo: Teresa Neumann) The Department of Justice strongly disagrees with the decision of the divided court, which blocks the President's efforts to strengthen this country's national security. As the dissenting judges explained, the executive order is a constitutional exercise of the President's duty to protect our communities from terrorism. The President is not required to admit people from countries that sponsor or shelter terrorism, until he determines that they can be properly vetted and do not pose a security risk to the United States. This Department of Justice will continue to vigorously defend the power and duty of the Executive Branch to protect the people of this country from danger, and will seek review of this case in the United States Supreme Court." The U.S. Department of Justice
