However, even more troubling than ridicule is the brainstorming session between Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and leftist activist Sandy Newman, as they consider ways that they can coerce communities of faith to rise up against Biblical principles.
 
It's downright chilling (though not entirely surprising) and has drawn the ire of many Catholic and Evangelical leaders in the form of a letter that is now circulating, which demands an apology from the Clinton camp.
 
Below are a couple of examples from the 'hacked' emails...
 
Sandy Newman, president of the Center for Progress writes to Podesta:
 
Hi John. This whole controversy with the bishops opposing contraceptive coverage even though 98% of Catholic women (and their conjugal partners) have used contraception has me thinking ... There needs to be a Catholic Spring, in which Catholics themselves demand the end of a middle ages dictatorship and the beginning of a little democracy and respect for gender equality in the Catholic Church.
 
Podesta writes:
 
We created Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good to organize for a moment like this. But I think it lacks the leadership to do so now. Likewise Catholics United. Like most Spring movements, I think this one will have to be bottom up.
 
According to the Christian Post, an excerpt from the letter now being circulated among Catholic and Christian leaders demanding an apology from Hillary Clinton herself, reads:
 
"As Christian leaders, Catholic and Evangelical, we collectively express our outrage at the demeaning and troubling rhetoric used by those within the Clinton campaign—and those associated with the campaign—to describe our communities."

While the Trump campaign is obviously dealing with their own issues; Christians need to be aware of schemes by anyone attempting to subvert the Biblical tenets of their faith.
