The rededication prayer utilizes a famous presidential proclamation from Abraham Lincoln with, "The USA recognizes Your Supreme Authority and Just Government in all the affairs of men and of nations."

Holy Father,

You are the true God. The USA recognizes Your Supreme Authority and Just Government in all the affairs of men and of nations.

You, LORD, are the God of the the USA and Americans are Your people.

We seek You and obey the Holy Bible with all our heart and all our soul.

We submit the USA to You. Lead us. Jesus is our King.

In Jesus' name. Amen.

The prayer asking God to forgive the USA includes sins to repent of with Scripture references. It finishes with assurance of forgiveness because of Jesus' sacrifice. It is appropriate for a National Day of Repentance.
