"As long as you are capable, you ought to use what God gave you. He left me here for a reason, and with enough of a mind to do what it is I'm supposed to be doing." (Weatherford, Texas)—Jack Borden is a 101-year-old attorney who—having practiced law for nearly 70 years, and still spending about 40 hours a week in his office—extols the virtues of working beyond retirement age. As reported on CNN, Borden is not alone in his passion to work. Take 70-year-old, Yakima, Washington, police officer Preston Brown. According to the report, he didn't even become an officer until he was 51-years-old and being in good shape, he has no plans to retire.
