Writing for ASSIST News, Dr. Ted Baehr, Publisher of MOVIEGUIDE®, reviews an important, new documentary entitled, Emancipation Revelation Revolution. The 91-minute video reveals the historical truth about how it was the faith-based, and conservative communities who fought for racial equality on behalf of African Americans.
"Emancipation Revelation Revolution (ERR) is compelling to watch. However, it is clear that it was produced on a low budget, so the interesting aspects of the documentary come from its content, not its production values. In terms of production value, some of the sound is off, some of the video is static, and some of the re-enactment is corny. Also, the African-American leaders use the "n" word, and there is a clip of Louis Farrakhan demeaning Jews. All of this foul language is rebuked, and the faith of the black community is extolled."
