"The African-American leaders, children and grandchildren of Booker T. Washington, Martin Luther King and others valiantly set the record straight in this documentary."

Writing for ASSIST News, Dr. Ted Baehr, Publisher of MOVIEGUIDEŽ, reviews an important, new documentary entitled, Emancipation Revelation Revolution. The 91-minute video reveals the historical truth about how it was the faith-based, and conservative communities who fought for racial equality on behalf of African Americans.

Emancipation Revelation Revolution Says Baehr, "There are some shocking details in here, how the Democrats suppressed the blacks after the Civil War, and even up until the 1960's, united to deny African-Americans civil rights. The Congressional Record is cited to show how the Democrats supported the Klu Klux Klan. The African-American leaders, children and grandchildren of Booker T. Washington, Martin Luther King and others, valiantly set the record straight in this documentary."

"Emancipation Revelation Revolution (ERR) is compelling to watch. However, it is clear that it was produced on a low budget, so the interesting aspects of the documentary come from its content, not its production values. In terms of production value, some of the sound is off, some of the video is static, and some of the re-enactment is corny. Also, the African-American leaders use the "n" word, and there is a clip of Louis Farrakhan demeaning Jews. All of this foul language is rebuked, and the faith of the black community is extolled."

According to the ERR website, the documentary is set to be released during February, Black History Month, of 2007. To view a 3 minute trailer of the film, CLICK HERE.
