'First of its Kind' Bible Project Connects Imprisoned, Homeless and Hurting Women With the Gospel

White, who founded the international ministry Courage For Life, recently told Faithwire that a new audio Bible, titled, "The Courage for Life Women's Audio Bible" will be a free resource that will take women from Genesis through Revelation, with all of the Scripture readings being recorded by women.

The audio Bible is, thus, a first of its kind, White explained. She also noted that there are specific barriers that prevent some of the women she serves with from being able to dive deeply into the Scriptures—barriers she's trying to overcome.

White is hoping the new audio Bible can help meet the greatest needs of these women, while transforming their perspective by presenting the Gospel in digestible form.

"These women who have prayed to receive Christ ... but if they don't have access to God's Word, they're at a stalemate," she said. "An audio Bible was something we thought was critically important, especially in a women's voice."
