Sky News reported that a "white van mounted the pavement of Las Ramblas" and "struck several people." The occupants of the vehicle then reportedly fled the scene of carnage on the street.

According to Sky, the regional interior minister, Joaquim Forn has confirmed that "13 people have been killed and more than 50 injured."

Police also confirmed that at least one man has been arrested and" is being treated like a terrorist," according to the Sky News report.
