"God is Good!" and "Adoption Rocks!": After 1,359 Days in Foster Care, Seven Siblings Celebrate Their New Forever Home

Dan Andros : May 11, 2017  Faithwire.com

Adoption has special meaning for the Clark's, as Jessaka's parents were foster care parents most of her life. And now, they've continued the tradition.

With 13,000 kids in the foster care system in Georgia alone, this story is reason to celebrate: seven more have found a forever home.

That's why Faithwire celebrates adoption, especially when it involves children who would enter into adulthood without a family to call their own.

Just last week, Faithwire reported on the remarkable story of a family who already had five children of their own and adopted six more siblings in order to keep them together.

Now, there's another fantastic story of love and sacrifice making headlines: a Georgia family has adopted seven siblings in order to keep them together.

More from WSB-TV:
After being in foster care for 1,359 days, seven siblings have been adopted all together to one Georgia family.

It all started when Jessaka Clark and her husband, Josh, decided they wanted to adopt 2 years ago.

They learned about their super seven in April 2016 and told Channel 2's Kimberly Richardson they immediately started the process to bring them home.

"They moved in with us on Aug. 5 and have been waiting every day for our court date to finalize," Jessaka Clark said.

That day finally arrived on May 9.

The family is so excited, they have been "up since 6, screaming and running around the house." (Photo: via Facebook/Faithwire)

Adoption has special meaning for the Clark's, as Jessaka's parents were foster care parents most of her life. And now, they've continued the tradition.

They celebrated with an emphatic "God is GOOD!" [and "Adoption Rocks!] on the back of their large van, now filled to the brim with children.
