The team beat the Cleveland Indians 8-7 in the tenth inning, but they nearly let it get away after All-Star closer Aroldis Chapman blew a three-run lead with two outs in the eighth [by the bat of Cleveland's Rajai Davis].

But the Cubs came right back as the game went into extra innings after a 17-minute rain delay.
