World Series game 7 was a dramatically fitting close for an equally breathtaking series that featured tough competition from both Cleveland and Chicago. But in the end, Cubs fans gathered outside Wrigley Field were rewarded for their undying devotion, erupting with the now-familiar chorus of "Go Cubs Go."

The team beat the Cleveland Indians 8-7 in the tenth inning, but they nearly let it get away after All-Star closer Aroldis Chapman blew a three-run lead with two outs in the eighth [by the bat of Cleveland's Rajai Davis].
But the Cubs came right back as the game went into extra innings after a 17-minute rain delay.

With the help of Miguel Montero, and [Mike Montgomery, who came on to pitch for the final out], they were able to hold that lead for the win.
That RBI is just one reason Zobrist [a Christian] was named MVP of the series.

But at the same time, I want people to know that grace is for everyone. We all need grace. We all need Christ ... That is the message the whole way we look at everything in our lives."
