According to news reports, the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) is behind a video clip from an upcoming miniseries titled "The Bible" to be shown in Time Square during Christmas. (Photo: World Evangelical Alliance)

The clip reportedly shows scenes from the film that depicts the Nativity, in hopes of putting "Christ back into Christmas," says Dr. Geoff Tunnicliffe of the WEA.

"Christmas has become so commercialized that we wanted to get out the message that Christ is the center of this celebration for Christians around the world," explained Tunnicliffe. "The clip is beautiful . . . a powerful visual reminder of the coming of Christ at Christmas and an alert to the upcoming TV series."

The miniseries, "The Bible" is slated to begin March 3rd on the History Channel, to run through Easter Sunday.
