Juman describes a dream she had after that prayer, in which she "saw the face of Yeshua" (Jesus), as He spoke to her saying, "I am God, Yeshua, you are My daughter, don’t be afraid."
[Breaking Christian News] This past weekend saw a lot of violence in several places; in America, Australia and Syria. For many, myself included, it evokes a sadness that—if allowed—can penetrate deeply into your thinking. (Image: Unsplash-Alex Shute)
Especially disturbing are the increasing attacks by Islamists on Christians and Jews all over the world.
I found myself recently, sinking into an unhealthy attitude regarding the situation, but I (thankfully) ran up against some Holy Spirit conviction.
In prayer, the Lord reminded me that His children are called to LOVE their enemies, and to pray for them.
I believe this mindset and action accomplishes much more than we think.
First, obedience to God always brings blessing, and that is no small thing.
Secondly, praying for and choosing love over hate in regard to an individual or people who are persecuting you or others, helps to keep you from entering that same prison of hate in which they're trapped.
And third; PRAYER is powerful! I've read many testimonies and stories of how men and women, steeped in Islam, have experienceddreams and visions of Jesus, and have left behind the darkness, embracing the Light of the Gospel.
Just one of many is Juman Al Qawasmi's testimony, shared byCBN Newsback in October of this year.
Not only was Juman once married to a member of Hamas, but her father was one of the founders of the Islamic extremist group.
"We used to curse all the Christian(s) and the Jewish (sic). We feel like we should kill them because this is what (the) Quran say," Juman told CBN News.
"Islam does not give you peace. And you're always scared something wrong will happen."
According to the report, Juman prayed, asking to truly know God, as she felt there must be more than hate, "God, I want to know You. I want to call Your name, I want You to save me," she said.

Juman says she had never heard the name Yeshua before, she had never been with Christian people. "No one told me about Jesus before," explained Juman in the video report.
She relates that when she heard Yeshua's name, she finally felt peace, and felt love for the first time. (Click Here to watch the video and listen to Juman's inspiring testimony)
This morning in prayer, I felt convicted over fear and anger toward those trapped in Islam, and their violence against others.
But, I was challenged by the Holy Spirit to instead, PRAY that these people will experience dreams and visions of Jesus—as Juman did—drawing them to Him. Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
What IF?! What if Believers in Jesus began to earnestly pray for the Muslims here in America, in Gaza, in Africa, Europe and the Middle East—in Australia; for God to give them dreams and visions that bring them to Him?
What an amazing revival might ensue!
"But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of Your Father in Heaven..." -Matthew 5:44-45
