Mayor Adams has agreed to sign an executive order to open up an ICE office on Riker's Island, so dangerous criminals can be deported.

Such is the case with a rather unlikely pair who recently met together to work on the horrendous crime problem often committed by illegal aliens in New York's "sanctuary" City.

After the meeting where it seems some good progress was made, President Trump's Border Czar Tom Homan and New York City Mayor Eric Adams sat down for an interview, and a lively discussion on Fox & Friends.

Co-host Steve Doocy, noting how earlier this week the DOJ had dropped their corruption charges against Mayor Adams, inquired about the collaborative session and just how it went since the two men are coming from very different political grids:

"You know ... I've called the mayor out many times for not stepping up with the public safety threats, but I'll tell you, when I sat down with him, I saw the cop in him," said Tom Homan. "And he really does want to do the right thing... he wants to help take public safety threats off the streets of New York, and make New York safer. He also wants to help find these missing children. We've got 300,000 missing children—many are here in NYC, we know that—and we've got to find them. We'll be working with his intelligence division and offices to save these children, because many of these children are in forced sex trafficking, many are in forced labor, and we've got to save them. I think everybody can agree to that, I don't care what side of the political spectrum you're on." Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here

Mayor Adams agreed saying, "I requested the meeting, I reached out to his team ... This has been an issue. I was talking about this before the election, in spring of 2022. We need to go after these dangerous people in our street. And now I have someone who understands that narrative, and we are fighting to get it done."
