Vineyard USA: It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Carol Wimber-Wong on January 3, 2025. Carol, alongside her late husband John Wimber, was a beloved pioneer of the Vineyard movement, laying the foundation for what has become a global community of over 2,500 Vineyard churches. Together, they reshaped the landscape of contemporary worship, power ministry, and love for the poor, inspiring generations to follow. After John's passing in 1997, Carol found love again with Ken Wong, and they built a life surrounded by their cherished family in Yorba Linda, California.
Carol Wimber-Wong's life was a beautiful reflection of love—love for God, love for her family, and love for every person she encountered. Her kindness, faith, and passion for serving others have left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and in the enduring spirit of the Vineyard movement, she helped create with John.
