NBC 7 San Diego reports that Planned Parenthood of Orange & San Bernardino Counties (PPOSBC) will be closing locations in Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Mission Viejo, Santa Ana, Westminster, San Bernardino, and Upland effective December 10, laying off some 81 employees as a result of President Donald Trump's so-called "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" (BBB), which contains a one-year ban on federal tax dollars going through Medicaid to entities that commits abortions for reasons other than rape, incest, or supposed threats to the mother's life.

In a press release, PPOSBC describes the affected locations as offering "primary care services" but claims the BBB won't impact its abortion operations since those receive funding from California's far-left Democrat state government. "They came after abortion, but they're taking away everything else that we do," said PPOSBC President and Chief Executive Krista Hollinger.

Yet defunding all aspects of Planned Parenthood contributes to reducing the abortion giant's overall profits and ability to continue operating, which in turn impacts its ability to continue abortions in the long run, as without Roe v.
