In a suspected cyberattack, a shadowy hacking collective has reportedly published the personal information of hundreds of US federal employees, including agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the FBI...

The Daily Wire notes that these hackers are believed to be part of a larger, loosely affiliated cybercrime community called "The Com." The Com is also home to members of groups like Scattered Spider, Oktapus, and LAPSUS$, all of whom have been behind major ransomware and data theft campaigns in recent years.

According to experts, this recent cyberattack marks a shift from financially motivated hacks to blatant political attacks on government personnel. The Daily Wire notes this doxxing incident could lead to real-world harm against federal employees, especially when employees like ICE agents are already facing threats and danger across the country.
