Prager, 76, has been a nationally syndicated radio host since 1999 and is the co-founder of PragerU, which appeals to young people with five-minute videos on various topics from a conservative perspective. Raised in an Orthodox Jewish home, Prager has penned 11 books, including a multi-volume Biblical commentary on the Pentateuch called The Rational Bible. Recently, Prager has become a leading voice in the Jewish American community, speaking out against the rise of anti-Semitism during the ongoing conflict facing Israel. Prager believes in the power of prayer and requested prayer through a spokesperson on the social media platform X. "He's resting in a local Los Angeles hospital as doctors assess treatment options.
