Following the scheduled portion of the event, Christian leaders gathered around Trump to pray for him. Pastor Jack Graham of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, urged those in the audience to "stretch out a hand" and join in the prayer.
Images of that time of prayer over Trump have since gone viral on the internet. Recording artist and former American Idol contestant, Danny Gokey performed his moving song, "My America" for the group including President Trump.
