Danica Patrick: The Left Can't Stop Me from Saying I'm a 'Proud American'

Craig Bannister : Sep 24, 2024  MRCTV

"...I said, 'I love America. Let's make America great again.' People didn't like that. People looked at me like I was some radical right-wing MAGA. Like, MAGA's got this awful connotation to so many people. I will not be judged to live in America, be an American, be a proud American, say 'I love America', and want to make America great again. I won't be judged for it. In fact, instead of quieting down, I am gonna get louder!" -Danica Patrick

[MRCTV.org] "Instead of quieting down, I am gonna get louder!" iconic former racecar driver Danica Patrick vowed Saturday, responding to the Left's efforts to shame her for being "a proud American." (Screengrab image: via Real America's Voice /X)

Patrick made the pledge while moderating a Trump Team Reclaim American Tour event featuring Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and former Democrat Congresswoman and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard in Las Vegas.

"My story starts in December of last year," Patrick said, explaining the backlash, condemnation and online attacks she experienced for attending Turning Point USA's annual AmFest event and proclaiming her love for her country:

"I posted these photos and I said, 'I love America. Let's make America great again.'"

"People didn't like that. People looked at me like I was some radical right-wing MAGA. Like, MAGA's got this awful connotation to so many people."

"And you know what? All it did was light a fire," Patrick said:

"I was, like, I will not be judged to live in America, be an American, be a proud American, say 'I love America', and want to make America great again. I won't be judged for it."

"In fact, instead of quieting down, I am gonna get louder!"

Patrick was a trailblazer for women in racecar competition. She raced in the top NASCAR series from 2012 to 2018 and is the only female driver to win an IndyCar race. She finished in the top ten seven times in her 191 career races. Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
