"Just as Mueller indicted a lot of Russians who were engaged in direct election interference and boosting Trump back in 2016. But I also think there are Americans who are engaged in this propaganda," Clinton said during an interview on MSNBC. "Whether they should be civilly or even in some cases, criminally charged is something that would be a better deterrence."

Clinton, who is launching a national book tour, also blasted the mainstream media and called on them to attack ...President Trump.

"I don't understand why it's so difficult for the press to have a consistent narrative about how dangerous Trump is. The late great journalist, Terry Evans, one time said that journalists should really try to achieve objectivity," she said. "And by that, he said, I mean, they should cover the object. Well, the object in this case is Donald Trump, his demagoguery, his danger to our country and the world, and stick with it."

Clinton's comments came one day after a gunman tried to assassinate President Trump on his Florida golf course.

Americans would be wise to take Clinton seriously. The Democrats have no desire to protect our First Amendment rights.

The United Kingdom is already engaged in a crackdown on social media. British citizens have literally been jailed for writing about illegal immigrants. Anything that might offend government censors could land a British person in jail.
