"The language we use matters!" the Vermont Department of Health declared Wednesday in a social media post titled "Inclusive Language for Families":

"The language we use matters! Many families and students are getting ready for the new school year. Equity in the classroom is an essential piece of a productive and healthy learning environment.

"When talking about family, it's important to use terms that cover the many versions of what family can look like."

The post then directs the public to stop saying "daughter" or "son" and replace those terms with the "gender neutral" descriptors "child" or "kid."

In order to avoid hurting the feelings of people like "incarcerated parents," the post says to replace "household members" with "family members."

And finally, the post says to remove "extended" from the term "extended family."

Still, the language-replacement dictates appear tame in comparison to those adopted by teachers at a Vermont school district, where even sex "assigned at birth" is no longer radical enough to satisfy gender ideology activist educators.

In April of 2023, fifth grade health/science teachers and students at Essex Westford School District began saying:

• "Person who produces sperm," instead of "boy," "male" and "assigned at birth."
• "Person who produces eggs," instead of "girl," "female" and "assigned at birth."

 The school district also censored the now-disfavored words from its worksheets.

Parents were notified of the new indoctrination tactics via a letter on April 20, 2023.

LGBTQ+ "partners" were reportedly among the persons who produced the new speech restrictions, in coordination with Vermont's Agency of Education and Department of Health. Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
