Doris Liber has pleaded with politicians and the public alike since her son, 26-year-old Guy Illouz, was taken hostage during Hamas' horrific Oct. 7 attack on Israel.

Liber and her family have no idea about Illouz's whereabouts or health status, but they aren't giving up. Illouz was attending the Supernova music festival at the time of the attack, an assault during which terrorists slaughtered more than 360 people.

"This is a human rights issue," Liber recently said on the "Higher Ground With Billy Hallowell Podcast." "There cannot be this kind of humiliation of bodies, of murdering in this kind of way, and torturing, kidnapping. These are marked rules for humanity."

If such behaviors are "allowed," she said she doesn't see a way "humanity can continue" or that anyone can "continue feeling safe" in his or her home.

Liber described the Hamas terrorists responsible for the carnage as "savages."

"The fact that the world is dividing pro-Palestinian or pro-Israel—it has nothing to do with it," she said. "This is murdering, not in cold blood; this is murdering and enjoying the act."

Liber continued, "If we let this happen, I really don't know what our world will be."

The grieving mother also shared heartwrenching details about the Oct. 7 attack, explaining how she immediately knew something was wrong when she received a hysterical call from Illouz's father, who informed her their son was in the middle of the terror attack.
