Let's pray that this day of rage becomes a day of revival. Jihad means "a struggle or fight against the enemies of Islam" and "the spiritual struggle within oneself against sin." This second definition calls to mind these verses from Hebrews 12: "...looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin." From these verses, we see a few prayer points.

1. We pray that Muslims would look to Jesus as the Author and Finisher of faith and see clearly that He died on the cross and rose again.
2. We pray for people to bring the Gospel to Muslims, and not become weary and discouraged.
3. We pray that the only thing jihad people find would be the victory over sin through receiving the completed work of Jesus on the cross.
