Although the organization referred to the Nashville massacre as a "heinous act," they argued that, as a result, transgender-identifying individuals have been targeted. Despite the "Day of Vengeance" being called off, transgender activists have continued their efforts to bring widespread acceptance of transgenderism to the American nation. [Friday marked] "Transgender Day of Visibility," which originated in 2009 when Rachel Crandall-Crocker, a man who identifies as a woman, advocated for a day set aside to "have a moment of happiness."

Crandall-Crocker spoke to significant influence of Rita Hester, who also identified as transgender was murdered in 1998 when he launched the concept. "I wanted a day that we can celebrate the living, and I wanted a day that all over the world we could be all together," he said.

As a fallout of the Nashville shooting and the "Day of Vengeance," there has been an uproar of responses from both sides of the political spectrum. Leaders who believed "the violence may only continue" have been proven right over the last few days. While the Left continues to bring awareness to the "genocide" against transgenders, Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins was shouted down at a peaceful assembly on Virginia Commonwealth University's campus.
