In fact, Dawkins called efforts to push back on this scientific reality "utter nonsense," concluding "there are two sexes, and that's all there is to it," as Fox News reported.

He made these comments during a recent appearance on "Piers Morgan Uncensored," calling persistent attacks on people like author J.K. Rowling over the gender issue examples of "bullying."

"It's very upsetting the way this tiny minority of people has managed to capture the discourse, to really talk errant nonsense," Dawkins said.

When asked by Morgan how to combat the current dynamic, Dawkins answered with one word: "Science."

He did say gender might be "subjective" to some, but when Morgan asked how he would respond when people say there are 100 genders, he said he's "not interested in that" and proceeded to offer his biological take.

"There are two sexes," he said. "You can talk about gender if you wish, and that's subjective. ... As a biologist, there are two sexes, and that's all there is to it."
