Dr. Corinne Weaver: My Aunt Olivia Newton-John's Courageous Healing Journey and Peaceful PassingShe was a fighter and so full of life. Another time Olivia came to visit she was suffering with severe back pain so it was only natural to come see me since I was a chiropractor. I took some thermography images and saw an unusual heat pattern. I laid my hands on her and knew immediately something was wrong. I ordered an MRI that day and later that night the radiologist called me to tell me it didn't look good. It ended up being cancer that metastasized to her bone. Well, that was 5 years ago and my uncle John worked endlessly on plant healing remedies for her. The plants he gave her helped her pain and reduced her cancer tremendously and she was able to live a lot longer life because of the healing plants, [for] which we are grateful. Those last 5 years with her were so special and she was able to write a book called "Don't Stop Believin'." I was able to write a book during that time as well called "No More Meds" and she wrote the foreword. In my foreword, Olivia Newton-John, OBE, OA wrote: "My healing journey never stops. The first time my family met Olivia Newton-John was when my uncle John Easterling was dating her. They came to my parents' house to visit. My mom Vivian Easterling was diagnosed with Stage 5 Glioblastoma, and she was paralyzed on one side of her body. Most people know Olivia as a performer, but I saw her as a server. That day Olivia got on her hands and knees and started massaging my mom's feet and singing the song "Grace and Gratitude" which was her new album at that time. I just thought how humble her heart was and how compassionate she was for people with cancer. Then years later to find out her own sister would die of the same horrible brain tumor.
