Hoping to persuade the city council members to change course, a group of black peace activists held an "urgent news conference" Tuesday to speak out against the city's plan to do away with its police department, according to WCCO-TV.

Lisa Clemons, a former police officer who now works as a peace activist with "A Mother's Love," told reporters, "We cannot continue to watch these bullets flying through our community"... Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
