Media outlets, who labeled Focus on the Family as anti-LGBTQ+, called for Brees to explain and apologize for his involvement with the organization...

Brees, who was completely broadsided by this attack, took to Twitter on Thursday night to set the record straight...

"...I'd like to set the record straight; I live by two very simple Christian fundamentals. That is: Love the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul, and love your neighbor as yourself.
