Since she didn't make a public appearance for several weeks, conspiracy theories circulated the mainstream media regarding her whereabouts. Some liberal publications speculated that she went somewhere other than the White House after she was released from the hospital, while others even made accusations that Trump was abusive and Melania was unhappy in her marriage. Melania recently responded to the rumors herself assuring that she was resting at the White House surrounded by her family. On Wednesday morning, June 6th, President Trump also finally addressed the rumors. According to Trump, the media actually did spot Melania at the White House ahead of her appearance at the Gold Star Families' reception with her husband on Monday.
