Speaking at a luncheon in Nashville hosted by the Susan B. Anthony List and the Life Issues Institute, the Vice President said, "I truly do believe, if all of us do all that we can, we will once again in our time, restore the sanctity of life to the center of American Law."

"I hope you all feel encouraged today, because I know, I do. Having been in the cause all of my adult life, I see more progress in the last year in the cause of life than I have seen in public policy in all of my years." Pence has been a very vocal supporter of pro-life, anti-abortion policies throughout his political career.

"And I truly do believe that life is winning in America for a variety of reasons," he said. "Through the generosity of adoptive families that are opening their homes to children," said the Vice President. "And life is winning through the compassion of caregivers and volunteers at crisis pregnancy centers and faith-based organizations" who offer support, love and encouragement to young pregnant women in crisis.

Speaking directly to the crowd in front of him, Pence said, "Life is winning in America, ultimately, because of all of you, and the people you represent all across this country."

"I couldn't be more proud of the pro-life movement," he said, and of the deep compassion and commitment he sees in those who fight to protect the sanctity of life...
