Some of Christianity's Most Respectable Organizations Are Now on Notorious Progressive "Hate List" Just for Their Stand on Traditional MarriageOrganizations such as Alliance Defending Freedom, Liberty Counsel, Family Research Council and American Family Association have been labeled “hate groups.” Said Matt Staver, Founder of Liberty Counsel: “The only purpose of providing the SPLC false and dangerous ‘hate group’ label is to push a liberal political agenda designed to hurt good organizations.”
Some of the Christian nonprofits that were labeled hate groups included the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), Liberty Counsel, Family Research Council (FRC), and the American Family Association.
