Their occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge headquarters back on Jan. 2nd drew other armed protesters sympathetic to their cause.

The report noted that a statement from the FBI said one individual "who was a subject of a federal probable cause arrest is deceased." FBI authorities gave no further information on the person who died.

Ammon and the other four are facing a "federal felony charge of conspiracy to impede officers of the United States from discharging their official duties through the use of force, intimidation or threats," said the report.

Ammon was continuing his father, Cliven Bundy's ongoing dispute over land. Their group, called Citizens for Constitutional Freedom, decries what they say is the "onerous federal land restrictions," as well as objecting to the prison sentences of two local ranchers who were convicted of setting fires.

The goal of Bundy's group is to see federal lands turned over to local authorities as the U.S. government controls about half of all land in the West, according to the Breitbart report.
