Seemingly nervous, the video tracks the man as he gets out of his seat, walks to the back of the room and returns to sit again.

Then suddenly he stands and lunges toward the pastor, Pedro Pablo Martin, holding up the knife, but what happens next is stunning.

As if the man hits an invisible wall, he is stopped in his tracks and seems to be stricken, falling backward to the floor.

All the while, Pastor Martin is shouting over and over in Spanish, "There is power in the name of Jesus!" (Screengrab via YouTube)

The man is quickly surrounded by churchgoers who disarm him, and begin praying for him, repeating the words of their pastor.

The video of the ordeal was released on YouTube and has gone viral, although some have questioned whether or not it's real.
