This week, Google put the ban into action, warning its advertising partners that any ads that contained "adult entertainment" would not be appearing in Google's networks.

According to a Christian Post report, Google also posted some definite parameters stating what would be unacceptable for advertising, such as: "graphic depictions of sexual acts; content with underage or non-consensual sexual themes, including child sexual abuse content; and services that may be interpreted as providing sexual acts in exchange for compensation."

Google added, "We don't allow this content regardless of whether it meets applicable legal restrictions around this kind of content."

Referring to the May conference with Google, Hysen Sisco, of Morality in Media, noted, "Today, we are seeing the fruits of that meeting."
