In short, Presley—who is originally from South Korea and was later adopted by a couple in Oklahoma who adopted ten special needs children—said he was angry and devastated when he first discovered his birth mother had wanted to abort him. Indeed, one of the theories behind why Josiah was born with a disabled arm is that he may have had a twin who was aborted and during the procedure the abortionist wounded the surviving child, not realizing there was another in the womb.

Nevertheless, it was only when he truly realized how important he was to God was Presley able to surrender his anger.

Proudly sharing a photograph of his adoptive family, Presley said that for his siblings' birth parents to have aborted them would have been a convenient and easy solution, "but if they hadn't chosen life, my family would not be what it is today. There are families out there willing and wanting to adopt the least of these. I was saved from an untimely death and I was placed in a home where I was loved and cared for and learned about the love of Christ. My admiration and my love for my parents has grown over the years as I've seen their day-in and day-out sacrifice for me and my siblings."

His testimony, said to be powerful, courageous and humbling by those in attendance at the conference, brought a standing ovation.
